Introduction

The Greater Manchester Public Health Network is managed by the Manchester Health Department (MHD). MHD is one of two comprehensive local public health departments in New Hampshire. The MHD is the point of contact for the Manchester Public Health Region and convener of the region's Public Health Preparedness Advisory Council, the planning body for regional public health preparedness activities.

Service Area

The Manchester Region includes the municipalities of Auburn, Bedford, Candia, Deerfield, Goffstown, Hooksett, Manchester and New Boston. Approximately 187,421 residents live in Manchester and the 7 surrounding municipalities listed above.
