Introduction
The goal of the Berlin/Gorham Community Health & Safety Partnership is to facilitate regional coordination of public health services as defined by the framework of the 10 Essential Services of public health.

The municipalities served by Berlin/Gorham Community Health & Safety Partnership include Berlin, Dummer, Errol, Gorham, Milan, Randolph, and Shelburne.

Priorities for Action
Following a set of activities to assess community health needs and local public health system capacity, Berlin/Gorham Health & Safety Partnership established as its initial priority work areas:
- Continued development of an effective partnership and broad constituency to address pressing public health issues;
- Development and dissemination of a current community health profile;
- Improving health education and health promotion activities including development of activities to improve physical activity and nutrition;
- Development of a regional resource directory and participation in regional operations planning activities for public health emergencies; and
- Enhancement of local public health and safety workforce competency by assessing training needs and facilitating more training opportunities locally.
