The Public Health Network is a collaboration of state agencies, support agencies and New Hampshire communities. Funding for the public health network is largely provided by the Center's for Disease Control and is managed at the state level by the NH Department of Safety in coordination with the NH Department of Health and Human Services. The Public Health Network receives technical assistance and training support from the Community Health Institute and the NH Institute of Health Policy and Practice.
As of 2005, there are fourteen public health partnerships in New Hampshire. These partnerships serve nearly 50% of New Hampshire towns and 70% of New Hampshire residents.
