Who We Are

The New Hampshire Public Health Network (NHPHN) was established to work to assure coordinated and comprehensive delivery of essential public health services regionally. Fifteen agencies are funded by the New Hampshire Division of Public Health Services to convene, coordinate, and facilitate an ongoing network of partners to address regional public health needs.

New Hampshire began funding the Public Health Networks in 2000 to improve local public health capacity throughout the state. Currently, there are fifteen Public Health Networks statewide, serving fifteen defined Public Health Regions that include all of New Hampshire's towns and residents.

Each Public Health Network works to improve regional capacity to respond to public health emergencies to protect the lives of New Hampshire residents. Many of the Public Health Netowkrs are also working to address other public health issues in their communities, such as substance abuse, childhood lead poisoning, and obesity.
